It was fabulous, and when I went to see it, it only featured the first four books! Please come back to Belfast again, Potted Potter!
Just seen the show at Bury St. Edmunds. Our kids laughed so much I was seriously worrying about one of them having an accident. It was great fun and we all really enjoyed the show – well done. Right now to tuck into some yummy chocolate cake.
Thank you so much for much laughter on the 26th July in Bury St Edmunds, I laughed til I cried for most of the show. We all really enjoyed the show especially my HP mad daughter who was picked to be the Gryffindor Seeker during the game of Quidditch.
“One shall live……and the other shall die” – classic!!
Just got home from Wednesday’s matinee at Theatre Royal in Bury and like Jo I was in stiches the whole way through and my 8 year old HP mad daughter was also picked to go on stage to be a Gryffindor Seeker! Although I don’t think Jo’s daughter carried on trying to scare the Golden Snitch after he was rugby tackled to the floor. What a fantasatic show – which we might have to see again back home in Edinburgh for the festival…
Thank you for a great afternoon’s entertainment and you HAVE to keep the chocolate cake in the show!!!
Now off to play some Quidditch…
Loved the show!! Me and my brother were in stitches literally the whole way through! It was appealing to all the family, AMAZING!! The own goal in the Quidditch match and the Fire Breathing Dragon!! Truly brilliant comedy!!
Excellent show guys. Just back from Edinburgh fringe and my son and I both loved the show. Highly recommended.
I really love this show. It always makes me weep with laughter. “I Will Survive” should be in the Top 40!
Your show was so awesome
Haven’t been laughing that hard in ages. Keep up the good work!
Saw you today at Edinburgh Fringe for your last performance! Absolutely brilliant!!! Thanks for the fantastic laughs! ‘I Will Survive’ – Awesome! My 8 year old still laughing when going to bed tonight!
Absolutely hilarious. 8 and 5 year olds laughed solidly for the whole show (Garrick, August 2011). Children didn’t stop talking about their favourite bits until they went to sleep. A huge success.
Just Watched Potted Potter this afternoon! absolutly hilarious! couldn’t stop laughing for one second!! the song at the end was brilliantt and well thought out. “Neville’s just killed my bloody snake!” the best line in the song ever!! Well done you guys and keep up the good work
Saw the show in London yesterday – absolutely brilliant. Both my daughters ages 12 & 7 thought it was fab, especially the final song. Thoroughly recommend it
Saw the show last thursday at the Garrick Theatre, I really loved it! It was hilarious! The dragon, Quidditch, the snake, the finale song, every second of the show was brilliant! Thnx for this great show!
Greetings from Holland!
Can’t recommend it enough. Saw it at the Garrick yesterday. We were a 45 year old mum, a 65 year old gran, a 7 year old boy and a 10 year old boy. Only I’ve read the books and seen all the films. We all fell about laughing from the minute it started right to the end, in fact it finished too soon! We were thoroughly enjoying it! I may even sneak off to see it again!
Saw the show earlier today and everyone seemed to be having a good time. 8 yr old daughter wanted to come to the 7pm performance too! I hope D & J noticed how well-received they were – the audience loved them. I’m sure there were at least twice as many adults than children in the audience. A great show for everyone – what’s going to be ‘potted’ next?
Saw the show in London with two of my grandchildren aged 6. Have to say they were in fits of laughter from start to finish and so was I. A really entertaining experience and hats off to Dan and Jeff for their performance.
Me, my brother, cousin and mom went to watch this today & we absolutely loved it!!! It was awesome, although I must say Dan did most of the work, it was one of those things that you cant miss:) Really enjoyed it and came home showing off about how much fun I had;)
When to see you at the Garrick today (29/8/11) had a fantastic time! – my 10 year old son gasped to me after the Order of the Phoenix, “Mum, I don’t think I can laugh any more!”
I’m sure we missed a lot by laughing too much!
Only one complaint…. it was too short!
When is the DVD coming out?
Thanks again for a fab afternoon.
Jen
Saw the show on Saturday 27th Aug, loved every minute. Dan and Jeff were superb, too many classic moments to mention. Seeing and hearing all the children laughing out loud was pure magic. It was great to meet Dan as well, as he mingled before the show. We picked up a programme signed by Dan, which had been dropped by someone in Row C of the upper circle; if you can tell me the name of the child it was dedicated to, I will post it to you.
We took our grandson to see the show yesterday, where he was picked as the Griffindor Seeker then totally ruled the stage and brought the snitch to the ground! What a great show, made everyone laugh ..Well Done!
we saw this at edinburgh fringe and was a great hit for all the family! ever thought about releasing a recording of one of your shows? there’s only so many times we can say ‘one of you will live…. and one of you will die’ without re-watching your show. thanks
