James Percy

James was born and raised in Doncaster, England. Following a Law Degree at The University of Liverpool, he trained classically at Birmingham School of Acting. Since then, James has worked internationally as an actor and comedian. For the last few years James has appeared in the World Tour of the two-man, Olivier Award-nominated Potted Potter, which included seasons in New York, Chicago, LA and tours of Australia, Asia, Canada and the USA. He has also recently toured the UK with the internationally acclaimed Reduced Shakespeare Company.

In 2010, James became the youngest actor to ever play the role of Wilbur Turnblad, in Hairspray: The Broadway Musical (USA). Theatre credits also include: Julius Caesar (UK Tour), Beauty & The Beast: The Musical, The Importance Of Being Earnest (Derby), Ladies in Retirement, Carmilla, Design For Murder (UK Tours), Alice in Wonderland: The Musical, Snow White (Doncaster), Sleeping Beauty (Wimborne), Peter Pan (Chesterfield), Edward VIII, St. Trinian’s: The Musical (London), The Memory Of Water (Birmingham) and Iago in Othello (Birmingham).
